The Arthur Ashe Reading Room is located at the Arthur Ashe Tennis Center. The fundamental purpose of the Room is to provide students enrolled within the Academy the necessary resources to improve their competency in problem solving, reading, writing, and speaking. Students participate in engaging activities like utilizing the Internet to research topics, preparing speeches that they deliver in front of other students, and solving brain teasers without paper. Parents are encouraged to spend time with their children researching topics and helping them decide upon speeches as a means to increase the time they spend with their children. |
